The standard we aim for
We aim for this website to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA. WCAG, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, sets out what a website should do so that people with disabilities can use it. AA is the middle of its three levels.
How we have checked it
Each time a change to this website is proposed, axe-core, an automated accessibility checker, reads every page of the website as changed. It reads each page at two widths: 1280 pixels, as on a desk, and 390, as on a phone. First it opens everything a visitor can open: each question and each row, each tab in turn, the menus, and the free check in each state it can show. The check fails if it finds any problem against WCAG 2.2 at level A or AA.
The same check measures every page at four widths, from 360 to 1280 pixels, and fails if a page is wider than the screen.
The first time axe-core read every page, on 28 September 2026, it found one problem: links inside running text were told apart from the words around them by colour alone, which did not meet WCAG's success criterion 1.4.1, on the use of colour. We underlined them, and it found no problem after that.
That day a script also moved through every page at both widths with the Tab key alone. Every link, button and field showing on the page could be reached, and each showed where the focus was. On the home page, the scanner page, pricing and contact, it also used each control from the keyboard: the menus, the tabs, the rows of checks, the choice of monthly or annual billing, and the free check.
On those four pages we also read what the browser gives a screen reader: the headings, in order with no level skipped, the name of each tab and which one is chosen, and the label of every field.
Known limits
We have not yet listened to the website with a screen reader, and an automated checker finds only some kinds of problem. So there may be problems we have not found.
This website uses a little motion: a card lifts under the pointer, a figure draws as it comes into view, and one page fades into the next. It follows your device's setting to reduce motion, and then moves nothing. The radar behind the heading of the home page keeps sweeping, and the button beside it pauses it. Nothing else moves for longer than five seconds unless a check you started is running.
